SALT&SHE ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard the information you share with us when you visit saltshe.com or place an order.
DATA WE COLLECT
Name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, order history, payment metadata (never full card numbers — payments are handled by Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Klarna and Apple Pay), and device/analytics data such as IP address and browser type.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
To process and deliver your orders, provide customer support, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and — with your consent — to send marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
LEGAL BASIS (GDPR)
Performance of contract (order fulfilment), legitimate interest (fraud prevention, service improvement), legal obligation (tax, accounting), and consent (marketing, non-essential cookies).
DATA SHARING
We share data only with the processors we need to run the store: Shopify (checkout & hosting), our shipping carriers (DHL, PostNL, UPS), our email platform, and payment providers. We never sell your personal data.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some processors are located outside the EU/EEA. When this happens, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
RETENTION
Order records are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support tickets are kept for 24 months.
